Brandon's brother Ryan recently surprised his son Jack for his 7th birthday in a BIG way. Ryan's a die-hard New York Mets fan, and Jack has followed squarely in his father's footsteps. The two love watching games together, even traveling from Charlotte to New York to catch a game in person on occasion. But this year, Ryan pulled out all the stops and managed to take Jack to the
Mets' spring training facility in Port St. Lucie, FL.
In fact, Ryan didn't stop there...
Amazing. Ryan was able not only to get Jack on the field, but at the very first practice game of the spring training season. The first person to throw out a ball at Mets spring training in 2015 was our awesome nephew and cousin, Jack Markheim. And after practice, he of course got to meet some of the players. Not too shabby for a 7-year-old. Check out how happy that kid is. :)
